Silver Spring, MD — Creating a “culture of care” is among the many matters scheduled for dialogue throughout an upcoming webinar on stopping suicide in the development trade.
Hosted by CPWR – The Center for Construction Research and Training, the webinar is set for 2 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 5. Speakers embody Amber Trueblood, information middle director at CPWR. Trueblood will current findings from her two current peer-reviewed articles and a CPWR Data Bulletin on tendencies in suicide, psychological well being and associated components.
Jessica Bunting, director of CPWR’s Research to Practice initiative and at-large director of the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention, and Jamie Becker, director of well being promotion for the Laborers’ Health and Safety Fund of North America and chair of the CIASP board of trustees, will define how employers can domesticate a tradition of care by:
- Improving employee well-being.
- Intervening throughout a disaster.
- Establishing sources and packages to help individuals who’ve been impacted by a suicide.
Trisha M. Calabrese, senior vp of packages on the American (*5*) for Suicide Prevention, will share data and sources from her group.
The occasion will wrap up with a Q&A session. Questions could be submitted throughout registration, which is required to attend.
