Orlando, FL — AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association, and the Central Plateau Cleanup Co. are the 2024 recipients of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Safety Champion award, offered by the National Safety Council.
The organizations have been acknowledged Tuesday earlier than the beginning of the psychological security panel dialogue on the 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo. The award honors those that incorporate “DEI safety initiatives into their culture and core business strategies through major business initiatives where they strive not only to ensure physical safety, but foster an environment where every employee feels secure, welcome and included.”
The DEI Safety Champion awards spotlight three varieties of achievements:
Culture, honoring organizations which have excelled in embedding DEI into their organizational security tradition and demonstrated their dedication to advancing psychological security.

People, recognizing organizations which have successfully recognized inequities and efficiently promoted variety throughout their security operations and workforce.
2024 recipient: Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association
Program Innovations, awarding organizations which have efficiently used innovation to handle boundaries to each bodily and psychological security that underrepresented teams might face within the office.
2024 recipient: Central Plateau Cleanup Co.
