Orlando, FL — The National Safety Council, together with a number of sponsors, acknowledged 16 school college students with seven totally different scholarship awards Tuesday at the National Awards Ceremony throughout the 2024 NSC Safety Congress & Expo. 

Two recipients had been awarded the Diversity in Safety Scholarship, an annual $5,000 award – for as much as 4 years – funded by the Schneider Foundation:

Chemours funded a further 5 Diversity in Safety Scholarships. The recipients:

  • Jasmine Engel, Florida A&M University
  • Taylor Lambert, Spelman College
  • Kenzie Moore, Spelman College
  • Marcus Rayner, North Carolina A&T State University
