Raleigh, NC — The Health Enhancement Research Organization and the Office for Total Worker Health at NIOSH have teamed up to develop a web-based portal for security researchers and employers. 

The HERO Worker Well-Being Clearinghouse is an open-source database that homes “de-identified” data from the NIOSH Worker Well-Being Questionnaire, or WellBQ. The data comprises “no identifying information that can be linked to specific people,” NIOSH says.

“HERO invites organizations and researchers across industries to join this groundbreaking effort in enhancing worker well-being,” the nonprofit says in a press launch.

Users of WellBQ will obtain a report with their outcomes and might decide to share nameless data with the clearinghouse.

According to its web site, HERO is devoted to figuring out and sharing finest practices to enhance the well being and well-being of staff, their spouses, dependents and retirees.
